Trophy - Best in Show by Varietal & Gold Medal 96 points
London Wine Competition 2024
Elegant and complex on nose with brioche, butter notes. Very pleasant wine on palate with vanilla, butter, cream flavours and well- integrated acidity.

Gold Medal & 96 points
International Wine & Spirits Competition 2024
Smoky and honeyed on the nose, with charming nuances of toasty oak, leading to a compelling mix of gun smoke and grapefruit on the palate. Vibrant fruit concentration is framed by harmonious oak spice and toasty flavours, culminating in a fresh, nutty finish. Remarkably persistent, calling you back for more. Magnificent!

98 points - Ray Jordan
Oh, yes. Here is further evidence that this has become one of the State’s finest chardonnays. It seems this cooler vintage has suited it perfectly. It’s sourced from the cool climes of Denmark. The intensity and sustained power is evident immediate with the penetrating aromas of butterscotch, stone fruit and lemon curd striking out. The palate delivers with intensity and power, with a dry savoury and slightly chalky finish completing an outstanding wine.

97 points - James Halliday, The Wine Companion
The fruit for this luscious estate-vineyard chardonnay came from three picks, end of February to 25 March, each parcel chilled and pressed direct to new and used French barriques for fermentation and 10 months maturation, including some mlf, without obscuring the javelin of acidity (7.8g/L) that holds the citrus/honey/fig trifecta together.
