This is the winery that created the defining imagery around the
founding of the Great Southern wine region.

94 points Erin Larkin, The Wine Companion
And here we are, at the pinnacle Riesling for Plantagenet: the single-vineyard expression. This is restrained and pithy in this cool year, showing a mineral seam of acidity that courses and flows through every aspect of the wine. Very, very classy, with a lingering spool of flavour through the finish that remains long after the wine is gone.

95 points Ray Jordan
On the nose you immediately get that characteristic spiciness which seems a part of this region for riesling. It works so well with the other notes of citrus and floral lime. The palate is precise and very long with a degree of varietal tension as the fine crisp acidity promotes a very long finish. That saline minerality on the finish is superb.
