The Wine List & Menu
1st Course
Peggy's Hill Riesling 2024 (Pre-Release), Our Price $26
Julius’ Riesling 2024(Pre-Release), Our Price $50
Abrolhos half shell scallops, sambal butter
2nd Course
Stone Jar Tempranillo 2022, Our Price $46
Deep ruby core into a rich purple rim. Blood plum, bitumen, and dark spices leap from the glass. Palate is deep and dark with a brooding dark loam and spice intensity. Tannins aren’t pronounced yet have ample power to drive it and dry it long to the finish. Time will see it evolve further
94 Points Stuart Knox, The Real Review
Seared salmon, miso butter, lime shichimi pearls
3rd Course
Henry's Seven Shiraz Blend 2023, Our Price $39
Deep dark colour with a rich ripe and plush nose of black plums and cherries, the palate full bodied and fleshy, seductively smooth and supple in texture, with good length and loads of appeal. Drinks well now but there is no hurry.
93 Points Huon Hooke, The Real Review
Johann's Garden Grenache Mataro 2023 (Pre-Release), Our Price $61
Mushroom and melted leek tart, fraiche
4th Course
Keyneton Euphonium Shiraz Cabernet Blend 2021, Our Price $64
Deep, dark and impenetrably opaque in the glass. Brooding aromas of mulberry, satsuma plum, anise, bramble, spice and graphite. Full, rich, fleshy and quite primary and plush in flavour. Lashings of black fruits, sweet spice, choc-mint and a briary earthiness. The tannins are textured, firm and shapely and there’s plenty of lively acidity ensuring the decadent fruit behaves itself
95 Points Aaron Brasher, The Real Review
Tappa Pass Shiraz Barossa 2021, Our Price $118
Ink black core into a deep purple rim. Mulberry, violets and iodine aromatics. Palate is weighty with ripe purple fruits that glide with serious class and distinction. Some anise spice and nori notes sit underneath and while the glide is silky, the tannins are still powerful and persistent. A very finely wrought wine that carries prodigious length
96 Points Stuart Knox, The Real Review
Wheelwright Shiraz 2019, Our Price $150
Organic and biodynamically raised shiraz from the Henschke's Eden Valley property; matured in French and American oak for 18 months. An expressive offering from the low-yielding 2019 vintage that shows the trademark Henschke elegance. Supple blackberry and blueberry fruits with hints of fine spice, crushed herbs, sage, redcurrant, purple florals, cedar and a liminal glimpse of wintergreen in the background. Fine, powdered sandy tannins and lacy acidity a simpatico base for the graceful fruits travel across the palate, finishing long and true.
96 Points Dave Brookes, Halliday Wine Companion
Twice cooked lamb shoulder, saffron braised tomatoes, petite greens
5th Course
Mount Edelstone Shiraz 2013, Our Price $285
This Museum & Rare Collection release maintains a firm but fine backbone of polished tannins which, together with the youthful primary fruit (predominantly black), brings potency and great presence to the palate. Sage, winter greens and underripe strawberry lend nuance and freshness. There is subtle viscosity too, with tertiary tapenade character and nutty, savoury oak. But there's plenty of mileage here too, with mouth-coating tannins and cleansing acidity to the finish.

Hill of Grace 2008, Our Price $1140
Very deep, concentrated brick-red colour of appropriate maturity, the bouquet dominated by earthy/forest-floor savoury tertiary aromas with old leather armchairs, terracotta and dried porcini mushroom aromas to the fore. A subtle trace of licorice. Sumptuous palate flavour, with masses of tannin but also a core of sweet fruit endures. The finish is energetic and driving, the aftertaste lingers on for an eternity. A majestic mature shiraz in the prime of its life. A great wine!
