Kings of Barossa & Eden: Museum and Cellared Releases
Australia's winemaking heritage owes much of its renown to the Barossa and Eden Valleys. These regions, nestled northeast of Adelaide, are synonymous with exceptional wines and rich viticultural history. The Barossa Valley is celebrated for its robust Shiraz, complex Cabernet Sauvignon, and flavourful Grenache, benefiting from diverse climates and varied altitudes that create ideal conditions for these varietals. The Eden Valley, often considered Barossa's cooler counterpart, adds elegance with its refined Rieslings and red wines. Together, these valleys epitomise the pinnacle of Australian viticulture, producing wines revered globally.
At Lamont’s Cottesloe, we celebrate exceptional wines from every corner of the globe. We're particularly excited about our latest arrivals from the Barossa and Eden Valleys, and we can't wait to share them with you! The rare and sought after selection of museum and cellared Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache wines from Henschke, Greenock Creek, Rockford, and Penfolds, including vintages from 1982 all the way thought to 2013. These renowned wineries need no introduction, but for your reference, we have provided some background information and context for each of them below. Additionally, we've compiled expert scores and reviews for all the wines featured in our collection and have just been listed on our online wine store.
